 RISE Reading Workshop

During the fall of 2020, in my class Reading/Language Arts in the Early Years, I had the opportunity to take The RISE Reading Workshop. The workshop covers: “an explicit, systematic, and sequential phonics method,” the “‘why’ behind the decoding, spelling, and pronunciation of English words,” and “how to empower students to become life-long readers, and learners” (https://workshop.riseinstituteforliteracy.org).

My certificate of completion is on the right.
